when i was walking to school today the moon was still up.

i slpet at brett's last night in the cold living room and woke up to the light from a sunroof in my face and brett's bird saying hello, making chicken noises, and humming the tune to brett's ringtone. the room smelled like old vegetables and dog, from the bird cage and the dog kennel thing next to the couch.
